There, he is inventing pâtisserie without borders… He is going to mix genres deliberately. As in a market. Logical, since he is a stone’s throw from the covered market in La Garenne Colombes (Hauts de Seine). Pâtisserie, confectionery, chocolate makers, a fine grocery shop but also a school… The place which Nicolas Bernardé and his wife, Isabelle, have dreamed up is as spacious as it is for food lovers. The chef offers so-called Weekend Cakes, including his now famous Cakissimes®: cakes that are as sweet and tender as kisses, but also delicacies, including his jams, spreads or caramels, condiments, including seasoning salts, and oils. An iconoclastic pâtissier, this chef does not hesitate to incorporate savoury in his world of sugar.
