FRÉDÉRIC LORASCHI

After years of learning and experience with international chefs, such as Philippe Urraca (MOF), Léa Linster (only female Bocuse d’or winner 1989), Santi Santamaria (El Raco de Can Fabes 3 Michelin Macarons Spain) or Bernard Loiseau (3 Michelin Macarons), in 2005 Frederic Loraschi opened his own chocolaterie : Frederic Loraschi Chocolate. His mission: to create the perfect chocolate experience!

Frederic Loraschi chooses exceptional raw materials from around the world, from the dark chocolates of Venezuela to the exotic cocoa of Mexico, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. Each ingredient is carefully transformed into a work of art in his workshop. The high-quality hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts are caramelized and expertly worked to create the melting pralines that garnish his creations.

Her quest for excellence was rewarded with the “Best Tasting” award at the World Chocolate Masters in 2010, as well as being named one of the “Top 10 Best Chocolatiers” in North America by Dessert Professional in 2011.

As a passionate craftsman, Frederic Loraschi is proud to share his know-how with the people of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
