Christophe RENOU

Native of Angers, Christophe Renou is a renowned pastry chef, awarded Best Craftsman of France (MOF) in 2015. He began his career in the world of chocolate before settling in Switzerland with his wife, where he became a key figure in the world of pastry.

In Switzerland, he co-founded the Mr & Mrs Renou pastry and chocolate shop, and also established the eponymous pastry school in Geneva in 2017. In this way, he continued to develop his passion for the transmission of know-how. Before that, he worked as pastry chef at the École du Grand Chocolat Valrhona in the Paris region between 2009 and 2017, after improving his art as pastry chef at Lucien Moutarlier in Chexbres, in Switzerland.

Christophe Renou is famous for his patisserie philosophy which focuses on simplicity, excellence and gourmet pleasure, with simple, slightly sweet, no-frills desserts. He shares his passion and skills through conferences on topics such as creativity, leadership and surpassing oneself. His career was marked by many distinctions: he finished 5th in the World Pastry Cup in Lyon in 2007 with the Swiss team. He received the 1st price in the Charles Proust Competition in 2010 and obtained the title of Best Craftsman in France (MOF) in 2015.
