Raúl BERNAL BELARRA

Raúl Bernal began his career in various bakeries of Huesca before perfecting his skills at the Barcelona Guild Pastry School (EPGB). He quickly joined the EPGB teaching team.

Winner of the Lluís Santapau trophy in 2011, he was recognised as the Best Master Chocolate Maker. For nearly five years, Raúl worked as chocolate chef for Chocovic, while teaching at the Academy of Chocolate of Spain. 

Today, he is member of the 21°Brix collective, ambassador of Chocovic and owner of Lapaca, his pastry and chocolate shop in Huesca. 

In 2023, he was crowned Best Hand-crafted Chocolate Maker of Spain and Best Master Chocolate Maker of Spain. Bernal describes himself as passionate about his job, with a special love for the world of chocolate.
