RECIPE STEPS

1. For the cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 75 gr butter
  • 215 gr sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 185 gr flour
  • 105 ml cream 35% fat
  • 4 gr baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ vanilla pod
STEPS

On the previous day, infuse the vanilla with the cream.
Make butter pommade. Add sugar and salt.
Whip in the eggs and cream alternately. Finish with flour and sifted yeast.

Fill the previously greased moulds to 3/4 full.

Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Place them cakes in the oven and lower the temperature to 160 ° C.
Cook the cakes for 40 minutes.

2. For the syrup

INGREDIENTS
  • 160 ml water
  • ½ vanilla pod
  • 50 g sugar
STEPS

Boil the syrup
Wait until it is lukewarm then soak the warm cake starting from the top.
